Dramatic Arts education is an important means of stimulating creativity in students. Drama is both an art form and also a highly effective teaching and learning methodology in educational stream. Drama Club is an opportunity for students to explore physical, emotional, social and cultural aspects of the child. Bhavan’s Public School gave a platform for students to celebrate the richness and depth of human expression in all of its forms. The inauguration of the Drama Club of the academic year 2019 -20 was done by the Principal Mr. M.P. Philip in the presence of Vice Principal Mr Dharmaraj Kumar and Academic Coordinator Mr. Thomas Francis. After the formal inauguration, the students of VII standard staged the drama- ‘Gopal and the Hilsa Fish’ under the guidance of Mr. Raju Bharathan (Faculty of English Department).The theme of the drama was – ‘Where there is a will there is a way.’ Academic Coordinator Mr. Thomas Francis awakened the students by saying the importance of drama and performing arts in education. Principal Mr. M.P. Philip addressed the students and congratulated them for their wonderful performance.
